A welcoming and ambitious primary school in the Rossendale area is seeking an outstanding SENDCO to lead and develop high-quality SEND provision across the school. The Role
As SENDCO, you will:
- Lead and develop the school's SEND provision.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to colleagues across the school.
- Work closely with pupils, families, external agencies, and staff to ensure the best outcomes for children with additional needs.
- Teach pupils within the school's inclusion provision.
- Drive an inclusive culture where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEND and emotional or behavioural needs.
- Has a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and graduated approach.
- Has experience coordinating SEND provision and working alongside senior leaders.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- Is reflective, resilient, and committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all pupils.
- Holds, is working towards, or is willing to complete the NPQ SENCO qualification.

This is a part-time, term-time-only position. The advertised salary is the full-time equivalent and will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
