About the Site Services Administrator job

The purpose of your role will be to provide administrative and operational support across a range of business functions, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation. This varied role includes supporting Health & Safety and Engineering teams, coordinating travel, assisting with facilities, and managing front-of-house activities.

Key tasks

  • Provide administrative support across Health & Safety, Engineering, Facilities and Site Services, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
  • Maintain training and compliance records, coordinating employee and visitor Health & Safety requirements, supporting meetings and documentation control, managing PPE and site consumables, and raising purchase orders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries, coordinate meeting rooms and site visits, arrange travel for senior stakeholders, oversee the company pool car, and work closely with teams across the business to maintain a professional, efficient, and well-organised workplace.

About You

  • The successful candidate shall have a proven track record of supporting multiple departments in a busy environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills is required and confident using Microsoft Office and other business systems, with strong written and verbal communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • A flexible, proactive approach is essential.
  • Experience with Health & Safety administration, document control processes, or working within a manufacturing or site-based environment would be advantageous.

The Site Services Administrator job (ref:9070) is paying £26,000 per annum according to your experience.

The site is in Wigan, Greater Manchester and is commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Warrington, Preston, Ormskirk, St Helens, Chorley and Bury, along with other areas of Lancashire and Merseyside.
