Skilled Groundworker

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Groundworker to Start on a site in Hertfordshire. Candidates will have a strong background in all aspects of groundworks and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team on a variety of civil engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laying kerbs and edgings to a high standard
• Installation of storm water drainage systems, including gulleys and associated pipework
• Excavation and preparation of trenches for drainage and utility works
• Laying, bedding, and installation of frames and covers
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in groundworks and civil engineering projects
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of drainage systems and kerb installation
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• CSCS Card (essential)
• CPCS/NPORS tickets advantageous but not essential
• Full UK driving licence preferred
