Pay Rate: £28 per hour (CIS)
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to support site works, primarily focused on thin sheet metal welding. This is a hands-on role requiring high-quality welding standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding, mainly on thin gauge sheet metal.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Ensure all welds meet required quality and safety standards.
- Perform basic fabrication and fitting duties where required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors and other trades on site.
- Adhere strictly to hot work permits and site safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder (essential).
- Strong experience working with thin sheet metal.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Manlift (MEWP) licence required.
- Forklift licence required.
- Experience working under hot work permits.
