Welfare Labourer

Start date: Immediately
Contract: Temporary, duration 1-2 weeks
Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (42.5 hours per week (30 minute unpaid break)

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Labourer on behalf of our client to join a busy welfare services operation in Swansea.
This is a hands on role working within a depot environment where you will be responsible for maintaining high standards across the workshop and yard, ensuring equipment is prepared and ready for customer use.
Please note that this role involves the servicing, cleaning and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units.

• Pressure cleaning welfare units and portable toilets before hire
• Keeping workshop and yard areas clean, organised and free from hazards
• Ensuring equipment is stored correctly
• Loading and unloading hire equipment
• Completing all relevant paperwork and hire documentation accurately
• Supporting depot operations and assisting colleagues as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a labouring role, ideally within a depot, yard or hire environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
• Strong attention to detail
