Why Join Us?

Every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed. As a 1:1 Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping pupils rebuild their confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve positive educational outcomes.

With regular referrals coming through from our client, we are actively expanding our team and have learners ready to start immediately.

About the Role

You will provide personalised, face-to-face tuition to primary and secondary-aged pupils who require alternative educational provision.

Sessions will take place either:

  • In the pupil's home
  • Within a community setting such as a library or learning hub

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, tailored tuition sessions
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
  • Supporting learners to develop confidence and independence
  • Adapting your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs
  • Monitoring progress and celebrating achievements, no matter how small

Who You'll Be Supporting

You will work with young people who have a range of additional needs, including:

  • SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
  • Anxiety and Mental Health needs
  • Behavioural challenges
  • Other complex learning needs

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from Tutors who are:

  • Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH
  • Patient, empathetic and resilient
  • Passionate about making a difference through education
  • Confident in delivering engaging 1:1 learning sessions
  • Able to build rapport with pupils who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education
  • Availability to deliver tuition across five days per week would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

  • Flexible part-time hours that fit around your schedule
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Consistent referrals and ongoing opportunities
  • The chance to make a real difference every day
  • Immediate starts available
  • Opportunities extending into the next academic year

Whether you're an experienced Tutor, Teacher, SEN Specialist, Youth Worker, Learning Mentor or Education Professional, we'd love to hear from you.
