2nd Line Support Engineer - £32,000-£38,000


An established Managed Service Provider in Surrey is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their growing technical team.


You'll be working across a range of client environments, resolving escalated issues and supporting ongoing infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling 2nd line tickets and escalations from 1st line
  • Troubleshooting desktop, server, and network issues
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-prem environments
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies
  • Assisting with project work and system upgrades

Tech stack:

  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online
  • Azure (basic administration)
  • Active Directory / Group Policy
  • Windows Server
  • Networking fundamentals

What we're looking for:

  • 2-4 years' experience in IT support (ideally MSP)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Package:

  • £32,000-£38,000
