3.5t Driver

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and dependable 3.5T Removals Driver to join a well-established removals company based in Purfleet.

This position offers a mix of driving, customer-facing duties, and warehouse support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and active working environment. You'll be responsible for helping customers relocate their belongings safely and efficiently throughout the UK while maintaining high standards of service.

Main Duties

• Accompany experienced team members during your initial training period to learn company processes and operational procedures.
• Operate 3.5T vehicles for domestic and international removals.
• Assist with the packing, protection, loading, transportation, and unloading of customers' possessions.
• Handle furniture and household goods safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
• Provide a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Complete delivery and removals documentation accurately.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow company Health & Safety procedures and undertake Banksman responsibilities where required.
• Attend training sessions to continually develop knowledge and practical skills.

Skills and Experience Required

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• Capable of carrying out manual handling tasks on a daily basis
• Previous experience within removals, delivery driving, logistics, or warehousing is desirable.
• Forklift truck experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Flexible approach and willingness to travel when required.
