The Role
As Acceptance Manager for nuclear defence site improvement programme, you will lead the development and execution of acceptance strategies to ensure seamless transition from design to operational use for cutting-edge submarine infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, oversee readiness planning, and ensure processes meet operational, regulatory, and safety standards. Your daily responsibilities will include strategy development, stakeholder engagement, technical documentation authoring, and supporting procurement activities.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Proven experience working within nuclear, highly regulated, or infrastructure environments, with detailed knowledge of acceptance, commissioning, and safety requirements
- Extensive understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and complex programme governance
- Skilled in interpreting or producing technical documentation such as reports, plans, and specifications
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate confidently across a broad stakeholder base
- Organised and proactive, with experience working both independently and within teams
