The Role

You will be responsible for managing, retaining, and developing a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients across a broad range of sectors. Working with internal broking and support teams, you will deliver high-quality insurance and risk management solutions while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business.

This role would suit a relationship-driven Account Executive who enjoys client interaction, business development, and building long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing an existing portfolio of commercial and corporate clients
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and grow client accounts
  • Generating new business through networking, referrals, and market activity
  • Working closely with Account Handlers and insurer partners to deliver tailored solutions
  • Presenting renewal and risk management strategies to clients
  • Negotiating competitive terms with insurers
  • Maintaining high levels of client retention and service standards
  • Ensuring FCA compliance and accurate record keeping

About You

  • Previous experience as an Account Executive within commercial insurance
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate insurance products
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Experience handling larger or more complex commercial risks advantageous
  • Driven, ambitious, and commercially minded
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to generate and convert new business opportunities
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards qualifications preferred
