This Account Manager position sits at the heart of a well-established electronics manufacturing environment, giving you the chance to work closely with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to keep everything running smoothly and on time.

As a Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of key customer accounts, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded. This Account Manager role offers a mix of relationship management, planning, and problem-solving, with the flexibility of working from home on Fridays and a supportive, collaborative team around you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts, including site visits
  • Produce and maintain delivery and production plans aligned to demand
  • Oversee repeat orders and contract reviews to meet capacity and material requirements
  • Work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely material availability
  • Support engineering teams during peak periods (BOM checks, MRP updates)
  • Expedite and resolve issues impacting delivery or commitments
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and promote services
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations with customers
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical or operational challenges

Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Account Manager or similar within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation ability
  • Confident presenting data and building lasting customer relationships
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Desirable Experience:
  • Background in a CEM (Contract Electronics Manufacturing) environment
  • Knowledge of electronics production processes
  • Experience using MRP systems

Benefits:
  • £40,000–£45,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with Friday working from home
