Location: Kingswood, Bristol
Contract Length: 3 Months+
Pay Rate: £13–14 per hour

Overview

Syntech Recruitment are currently supporting a client based in the Kingswood area of Bristol in the search for an experienced Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant on an initial 3-month contract basis, with potential for extension.

This position would suit a detail-oriented and organised individual with strong administrative and finance support experience, ideally within a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records
• Supporting day-to-day accounting and administrative activities
• Processing financial information using accounting software including SAGE
• Managing documentation and maintaining organised filing systems
• Assisting with customer queries and internal communications professionally
• Supporting finance and administration teams with general office duties
• Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
• Ensuring accuracy and quality across all administrative processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience using accounting software such as SAGE
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Professional and ethical approach to handling confidential information
