Seymour John is working with a business in Telford who are looking to hire an Accountants Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on reconciliations, cashflow support, and producing accurate financial information.

The role will include:

  • Supporting cashflow reporting and day-to-day cash management
  • Bank reconciliations (high volume / multi-account if required)
  • Credit card statement processing and reconciliations
  • Purchase ledger support: invoice processing, matching, supplier queries
  • Sales ledger support: invoicing, allocations, chasing/query management

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position
  • Strong working knowledge of bank recs, ledgers, and reconciliations
  • Comfortable picking up systems quickly and working with financial deadlines 
  • Accurate, proactive, and naturally organised with strong attention to detail

Salary & benefits:

  • £26,000–£30,000 DOE
