What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?

  • Manage and maintain both sales and purchase ledger functions
  • Support credit control activity, including chasing overdue payments
  • Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry
  • Prepare BACS payment runs and carry out reconciliations
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with payroll processing and related finance administration

What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?

  • Experience in a transactional finance role (sales and/or purchase ledger)
  • Confident using Sage accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team
  • Flexible, hands-on approach to varied finance tasks
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
