What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?
- Manage and maintain both sales and purchase ledger functions
- Support credit control activity, including chasing overdue payments
- Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry
- Prepare BACS payment runs and carry out reconciliations
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and related finance administration
What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?
- Experience in a transactional finance role (sales and/or purchase ledger)
- Confident using Sage accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team
- Flexible, hands-on approach to varied finance tasks
- Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
