- Maintain and update accounts payable records in an organised manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare payment runs and ensure timely remittance to suppliers.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Respond to supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role within the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment in Airdrie.
