The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Accounts Senior to join a leading and highly regarded SME-focused accountancy practice in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic role for an ambitious ACA / ACCA / CA qualified professional looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

You will begin taking ownership of your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners in delivering a high-quality client service. The successful candidate will enjoy building strong client relationships and supporting businesses with accounting and advisory needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for a broad client base
• Supporting clients from an accounting and advisory perspective
• Developing strong and lasting client relationships
• Working closely with managers and partners across the wider team
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Managing chargeable time and working towards utilisation targets
• Ensuring accurate timesheet and work recording
• Assisting with the fee preparation process
• Working both independently and collaboratively within the team

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CA newly qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and client-focused approach
• Motivated to continue developing technically and professionally
