Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
(1 hour unpaid lunch break per day)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Training: Full training provided
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Admin / Despatch Assistant to support our busy office and despatch operations. This is a varied role combining administrative duties with daily despatch responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
- Handling daily despatch activities
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with queries professionally
- Responding to customer and internal queries via email
- Carrying out general office administration duties as required
- Supporting Health & Safety administration tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
Skills & Experience Required
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good standard of English and Maths
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
