Job Title: Admin Support within the HR Team

Location: Sheffield
Contract Type: Full Time - 6 Month Contract
Salary: £25500 - £26500 per annum

Elevation Recruitment are working exclusively with a great business in the heart of Sheffield. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused HR Administrator to join our team and support the implementation of a new HR system. This role is ideal for someone with strong data management skills who enjoys working with spreadsheets and ensuring accuracy in high-volume data input.

You will play a key role in supporting the HR team by inputting, maintaining, and validating employee data within our new system, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

Main Duties will include:
  • Accurately input, update, and maintain employee data within the HR system
  • Support the migration of data from existing systems to the new HR platform
  • Validate and cleanse data to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Work extensively with Excel to manage and manipulate large datasets
  • Assist with system testing and identify any data discrepancies
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection standards
The candidate:
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within HR or data-focused roles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, data sorting, VLOOKUP or equivalent is ideal)
  • Experience with high-volume data entry and data cleansing
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working with systems and adapting to new technology
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
