Adult Social Worker – Derbyshire County Council (Matlock)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join Derbyshire County Council based in Matlock for a full-time locum opportunity.

This is a standard Adult Social Care role with an ASAP start, offering 37 hours per week and a competitive pay rate of £23.66 per hour, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload within Adult Social Care

• Completing Mental Capacity Assessments

• Undertaking Safeguarding enquiries and interventions

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies

• Delivering person-centred support and care planning

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification

• Registered with Social Work England

• Previous experience within Adult Social Care

• Confident completing Mental Capacity Assessments and Safeguarding work

• Strong communication and case management skills
