Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)/ Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (hours can be condensed for flexibility)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary primary care team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about patient care and professional development to work in a supportive and innovative environment.
As an ANP/ACP , you will have the autonomy to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, prescribing and referring as appropriate, and contributing to high-quality patient care. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering holistic care in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Deliver evidence-based care in line with NICE guidance and professional standards.
- Identify and support patients at risk of long-term conditions.
- Conduct complex chronic disease clinics, wound care, and other specialist interventions.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Mentor and support junior staff and students.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in health promotion and preventative care programs.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Registration:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or HCPC or GHPC
- Independent Nurse Prescriber (desirable).
- Master’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Advanced Practice (Desirable)
Experience:
- Experience in primary care and general practice
- Demonstrable advanced nursing practice across clinical, leadership, education, and research domains.
- Experience of prescribing and undertaking medication reviews.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in acute and chronic conditions
- Knowledge of public health issues and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication, teamworking, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, and maintain professional integrity.
Other Requirements:
- DBS clearance and occupational health clearance.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours if required.
- Access to transport for local travel.
