We are recruiting Advanced Paramedic Prescribers to support a well-established urgent care service across multiple sites in Northern Ireland.

This is a flexible, ad hoc opportunity suited to highly experienced clinicians who can assess, treat and prescribe independently within a “see and treat” model.

The Role

• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment of urgent care patients
• Manage minor illness and injury presentations independently
• Prescribe safely and appropriately within scope of practice
• Work within a full “see, treat and prescribe” model
• Make confident clinical decisions without direct supervision
• 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00)
• Flexible shift patterns, often in blocks
• Weekend shifts available

What We’re Looking For

• HCPC registered Paramedic
• Independent prescribing qualification (essential)
• Strong experience in urgent care / minor illness & injury
• Confident autonomous practitioner
• Comfortable working in solo clinical settings
• Able to adapt across multiple sites
