Aftersales Manager Opportunity: Birmingham Main Dealer

We are recruiting for an Aftersales Manager on behalf of our client, an established main-dealer-type site in Birmingham with a strong aftersales KPI focus. This Aftersales Manager role offers a basic salary of up to £40,000 with an OTE of £65,000+.

Duties:
  • Drive performance of the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, sold hours, and first-time fix
  • Lead the customer-facing team to maximise upsell while maintaining exception customer service
  • Adopt new digital systems and processes as part of the dealership digitalisation strategy
  • Develop skills, knowledge, and career progression of Aftersales Manager team members
  • Optimise operational processes within the customer journey, including Vehicle Health Checks
  • Ensure compliance with group financial processes, DVSA MOT requirements, and relevant Health & Safety regulations
  • Improve departmental performance and contribute across the whole dealership
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or in a senior aftersales leadership role within a franchised/main dealer environment
  • Strong KPI management and performance improvement capability
  • Confident people leadership with a coaching approach
  • Commercial understanding of workshop efficiency, sold hours, and upsell performance
  • Ability to implement process and systems change, including digital tools
  • Clear understanding of compliance responsibilities, including MOT and Health & Safety requirements
  • Full, valid UK driving licence (where required for the role)
