Job Title: Agency Officer
Location: Littlemore Health Centre, White Building, Oxford, OX4 4XN - candidates can work remotely 4 days per week and 1 day in the office
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Role details:
Provide comprehensive first class, customer-focused service managing temporary staffing agencies to ensure that they meet the Trust’s needs. To support the Temporary Staffing lead in the engagement and migration of agency workers to Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust or NHS Professionals’ bank whilst working with directorate colleagues to manage Agency lines of work
Duties to include but not limited to:
· Foster effective relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure Trust requirements and ways of working are understood and delivered.
· Work with directorate colleagues to ensure that any Line of Work requests have the correct authorisation before contacting NHSP and MSP to source suitable candidates.
· Act as the main point of contact to resolve issues for MSP.
· Act as the first point of contact to resolve Temporary Staffing Assistant’s queries regarding agencies and their workers.
· Ensure the MSP understand the Trust’s requirements regarding recruitment and ongoing checks, registration, training supervision etc. and support the Temporary Staffing Assistant to ensure these requirements are evidenced and met.
· Actively engage with suppliers to support how they can recruit high quality workers to agency and bank.
· Manage the termination process for Agency workers when Lines of Work are ending or they are migrating to OHFT or NHSP to ensure no recruitment costs are incurred.
· Communicate effectively with other members of the Temporary Staffing team, creditors and managers throughout the Trust.
· Assist directorate colleagues in the booking and cancelling of temporary workers where they are not currently on the e-rostering system.
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Competent with Microsoft office programmes, particularly Excel
· Excellent IT skills
· Temporary staffing experience (essential)
· Email inbox management skills
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
