Rapidly growing, Midlands based organisation in the telecoms sector

Description

• Take a top‑down, consultancy‑led approach to identifying automation opportunities across the business.
• Engage directly with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and support functions to understand real‑world processes.
• Analyse existing workflows to determine where AI or automation will genuinely add value.
• Work closely with the internal Process Team, including Six Sigma specialists, to assess efficiency and improvement opportunities.
• Design pragmatic, scalable AI and automation solutions aligned to business priorities.
• Translate business problems into clear solution concepts and automation roadmaps.
• Define expected benefits, cost savings, and efficiency gains for proposed initiatives.

Profile

• Proven experience as an AI Consultant, Intelligent Automation Consultant, or Process‑Led Automation Consultant.
• Strong background in process discovery, redesign, and automation, not just technical delivery.
• Knowledge of AI softwares and solutions
• Experience working in field‑based, operational, or asset‑heavy environments (telecoms, utilities, infrastructure, engineering services, logistics, etc.).
• Track record of identifying measurable savings and efficiency improvements.
• Comfortable operating at C‑suite level while also engaging frontline teams.

Job Offer

Day rate ranging from £450-600 - outside IR35

Initially a 6 month contract, with strong chance of extension
