About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically minded AI Innovation Engineer to help shape how Artificial Intelligence is integrated across the business.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams, you will identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate repetitive processes, and introduce practical AI-driven solutions that support day-to-day operations.

The role would suit someone who enjoys researching emerging technologies, solving business problems, and helping teams adopt innovative tools in a practical and user-friendly way.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and applications
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve operational efficiency and business processes
• Assist in the design and implementation of AI-powered tools and workflows
• Collaborate with departments across the organisation to understand operational challenges
• Support the rollout and adoption of AI initiatives across the business
• Stay informed on AI trends, tools, and best practices
• Promote responsible and secure use of AI technologies, with awareness of data protection and information security considerations

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
• Problem-solving mindset with a process improvement focus
• Understanding of modern AI tools, including language models and AI assistants
• Awareness of data security, governance, and responsible AI usage
• Intermediate Python programming skills
• Experience with database administration
• Intermediate SQL querying capability
• Foundational understanding of APIs and system integrations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience implementing AI solutions within a business environment
• Exposure to automation or workflow optimisation projects
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
