The Opportunity

A well-established and growing freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an experienced Air & Ocean Freight Operator to join their team in Bradford.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid operational experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day air and ocean freight shipments (import & export)
• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, and shipping lines
• Prepare and process shipping documentation
• Provide quotations and follow up with clients
• Raise and process invoices accurately
• Ensure high levels of customer service and communication throughout the shipment lifecycle

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience in air and/or ocean freight forwarding
• Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
• Good level of education
• Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
