Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team operating in and around Reading. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of VRF and split air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
- Working with VRF/VRV systems and split/multi-split systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety regulations
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
- FGas Certification (Category 1) - mandatory
- IPAF (Powered Access Licence) - required
- CSCS Card (valid)
- Eligible to work under CIS scheme
- Proven experience working on VRF/VRV systems
- Strong background with split and multi-split systems
- Experience in commercial environments preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-facing ability
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Experience with major manufacturers (e.g. Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu)
- Additional HVAC qualifications
