Air Freight Manager

Looking for a Air Freight Manager to join our management team in a well established Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain depot based in Hayes Middlesex. You will be working alongside the Transport and warehouse manager, and responsible for all Air Freight and some Sea Freight operations.

Hours - 40hrs per week (9-5 or 10-6.30)

Job Description

Key responsibilities -

• Handle air export shipments (occasionally sea) independently, including booking, documentation and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with UK and overseas offices, agents, and partners to ensure smooth shipment flow.
• Arrange and oversee import & export customs clearances.
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all job files and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on air exports (sea freight experience is a bonus).
• Strong operational knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ASM Sequoia is highly desirable.
• Import & export customs clearance experience.
• Experience with ETSF & Bonded Warehouse would be useful
• Professional, proactive, and able to work independently.
