We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic/Fitter/Technician to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs to ensure aircraft remain safe, compliant and serviceable. Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved procedures and regulations.
  • Perform fault finding, repairs and component replacement in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance whilst always prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Contributing to the effective day-to-day operation.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of maintenance facilities and equipment.
  • Check, repair, and modify mechanical, electrical and electronic aircraft components and systems.
  • Complete maintenance documentation.
  • Support with conducting audits.
  • You must comply with health, safety, environmental and sustainability rules and regulations.

Requirements/ Qualification: 

  • UK CAA or EASA Part-66 Cat A licence, or progress toward licence application (desirable).
  • NVQ Level 3 completed in a recognised engineering qualification or the equivalent experience.
  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience desirable. 
  • Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical systems, maintenance practices and technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, task cards and engineering instructions.
  • Ability to complete tasks within defined timescales.
  • You must be able to work professionally and responsibly on your own and as part of a team. 
  • You must be an excellent team player and communicator.
  • You must possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable).
