Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager required to join a growing industrial distribution business.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business development and managing a broad customer base across the South of England. You will focus on selling engineered power transmission components to a range of end users and distributors.

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will ideally have a strong distributor-to-end-user sales background, an established network in relevant industrial sectors, and experience managing the full sales cycle. Full product training will be provided.

Package:
  • £40,000 – £50,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Role:
  • Sell engineered mechanical and power transmission products, including couplings, brakes, three-wheels, locking elements, and associated products across the South of England.
  • Develop and manage key accounts with a focus on growth and long-term relationships.
  • Handle a broad range of industrial products, managing margin pressures and complex sales cycles.
  • Provide expert technical knowledge and commercial advice to clients on product applications and solutions.
  • Field-based role covering multiple locations across the South, including Milton Keynes, Somerset, Bristol, Kent, and Hertfordshire.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Requirements:
  • Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling industrial products.
  • Proven distributor-to-end-user sales experience, ideally in power transmission, couplings, brakes, three-wheels, locking elements, and associated products
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple accounts independently.
  • Established network within relevant industrial sectors.
  • Technical background or understanding of mechanical/industrial systems is desirable.
  • Full clean driving license and willingness to travel across the South of England.
