TeacherActive is proud to be working with a successful secondary school in South Gloucestershire that is seeking to appoint an Art and Design Technology Teacher. The school is looking to appoint an Art and Design Technology Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2026. The successful Art and Design Technology Teacher will be responsible for delivering both Art and Design Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students through a combination of creative and practical learning. The Art and Design Technology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in both subjects, monitor student progress, maintain excellent classroom management, and promote high standards of achievement across the department.

The successful Art and Design Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with an Art, Design Technology or related specialism

• Experience teaching both Art and Design Technology up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A passion for developing creativity, practical skills, and student achievement

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
