We’re working with a vibrant secondary school in Ilford looking for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their creative department this September. The school is big on expression, inclusion, and helping students find confidence through creativity, whether that’s charcoal portraits, digital design, or the occasional glue-stick disaster.

You’ll be teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to experiment, develop skills, and genuinely enjoy the subject. The department is well-resourced, supportive, and full of people who love what they do, always a good sign.

The role includes:

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Art in a secondary setting
  • Brings energy, creativity, and strong classroom presence
  • Can build positive relationships with students quickly
  • Loves the idea of making art lessons the highlight of the week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
