KS4 Art Teacher – SEMH & Alternative Provision

M3 – UPS3 (£38,627 – £52,490)
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience.

Teach Now is recruiting for a passionate and resilient Art Teacher to join a specialist Education Support Centre supporting young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and behavioural needs.

The Role

You will deliver engaging KS4 Art lessons within a supportive and therapeutic environment, using creativity to help students build confidence, self-expression, and positive engagement with learning.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, calm under pressure, and committed to helping every learner achieve success both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities


• Deliver engaging and differentiated KS4 Art lessons
• Support students with SEMH and behavioural needs
• Build strong, positive relationships with learners
• Use creative approaches to encourage confidence and engagement
• Work collaboratively with pastoral and therapeutic teams
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and purposeful learning environment

The Ideal Candidate


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Art at KS4
• PRU, alternative provision, or SEMH experience desirable
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Calm, resilient, and solution-focused approach
• Passion for inclusion and supporting vulnerable learners
