We are recruiting for an experienced ASB & Enforcement Officer to join a leading Housing Association's Neighbourhoods team. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with experience managing anti-social behaviour cases, enforcing tenancy conditions, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to create safer, stronger communities.
The Role
As an ASB & Enforcement Officer, you will manage a varied caseload of anti-social behaviour, nuisance, hate crime, and tenancy enforcement cases. Acting as the first point of contact for residents, you will investigate complaints, gather evidence, and work with customers and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ASB, nuisance, harassment, hate crime, and tenancy enforcement cases.
- Investigate complaints and gather evidence to support legal action where necessary.
- Prepare witness statements, legal documentation, and court papers.
- Attend court hearings and represent the organisation when required.
- Work closely with Police, Local Authorities, support agencies, and community groups.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to customers and colleagues.
- Promote positive neighbourhood relationships and sustainable tenancies.
- Ensure cases are managed in line with legislation, policy, and best practice.
- Experience working within social housing, neighbourhood management, tenancy enforcement, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing ASB and complex casework.
- Experience dealing with challenging behaviour and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and housing management practices.
- Understanding of ASB, domestic abuse, harassment, hate crime, and enforcement procedures.
- Experience preparing legal documentation and attending court proceedings.
- Strong communication, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
- £20.75 per hour.
