Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £43k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, with a national presence and busy client portfolio. They are recruiting in the South East of England for experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analysts, to cover domestic and local authority contracts across the region. Our client is able to also consider candidates who hold only surveying experience, as they can offer thorough training into the analytical and associated modules. You will be responsible for communicating technical matters directly to clients and providing regular updates, as such, strong communication skills are essential. Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Will have worked within a UKAS accredited company
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent as a minimum
• For dual qualified candidates, you will also hold the BOHS P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalent
• Excellent industry knowledge, including: HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Conducting thorough management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Safely collecting ACM samples from site for analysis
• Carrying out 4 stage clearances
• Performing full air montioring, including: personal, smoke, leak, reassurance and background
• Working across a variety of removals projects, ensuring works are completed in line with safety guidelines
• Communicating technical feedback directly to clients and answering any queries
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Producing detailed technical reports and accompanying schematic drawings
• Adhering to set targets and project deadlines
