Job Title: Assembly Fitter

Location: Northern Ireland

Pay: DOE

Duration: Temporary or Permanent

Job Summary: Fusion People are actively recruiting for Assembly Fitters to work with their clients production team to put together mechanical parts and components to make sub‑assemblies or complete our final build crushers.

What you'll do:

- Align and adjust parts to ensure correct fit, movement, and tolerances

- Test assembled units to make sure they function correctly

- Install fasteners like bolts, screws, rivets, and pins

- Use hand and power tools (spanners, torque wrenches, drills, grinder etc.)

- Assemble components such as metal parts, bearings, pipes, or frames

- Identify and fix faults or assembly issues

- Follow work instructions and specifications to understand how parts should fit together

Essential skills and qualities:

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Good communication skills
- 'Can do' attitude
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret instructions

Desirable skills:

- Experience in mechanical fitting

- Experience of fitting hydraulics
