Assembly Fitter - Omagh, Northern Ireland
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour DOE
Temporary, temp-to-perm or permanent opportunities available
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am-3:45pm, Friday 7:00am-1:00pm

I'm currently recruiting for an Assembly Fitter to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business based in Omagh, Northern Ireland.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has experience using tools, working with mechanical parts, or assembling components.

The role will involve:

• Assembling mechanical parts and components

• Working with metal parts, bearings, pipes, frames and fasteners

• Using hand and power tools such as spanners, drills, grinders and torque wrenches

• Following work instructions and specifications

• Checking the quality and accuracy of your own work

• Identifying and resolving basic assembly issues

• Working as part of a production team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in assembly, fitting, manufacturing, mechanical work or a similar hands-on role

• Good attention to detail

• Confidence using hand and power tools

• A positive, can-do attitude

• Good communication skills

• A strong focus on health and safety

Experience with mechanical fitting or hydraulics would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills.

Candidates from backgrounds such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, vehicle mechanics or general hands-on mechanical work will also be considered.
