Assembly Team Leader

We are looking for a hands-on Assembly Team Leader / Assembly Supervisor / Production Lead / Production Team Lead with strong people‑management skills to lead a small assembly team in a manufacturing environment.

This role involves hands-on leadership across wiring, crimping, assembly and shipping, while driving Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) performance.

Assembly Team Lead Responsibilities

• The Production Team Leader will need to lead from the front, motivate and develop an assembly team
• Take ownership of your production area and output
• Ensure safe working practices and high-quality standards
• Manage attendance, RTW interviews and day‑to‑day performance
• Meet production and delivery targets
• Provide cover and support to other production teams when needed

Assembly Team Leader Attributes:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Assembly Team Lead, Assembly Supervisor, Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Production Team Lead or Production Leader in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing a team of assembly operators or similar
• Experience in Electrical or Electronic assembly is ideal but not essential
• Proven people-management experience in manufacturing or assembly
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and productivity
• Hands-on knowledge of wiring and assembly processes
• A positive, ownership‑driven leader who builds strong team relationships
