We are representing a reputable automotive dealership seeking to appoint an Assistant Branch Manager in Edinburgh West. Duties:
  • Assist the Branch Manager in day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Support in leading and motivating the team to meet and exceed sales and customer service targets
  • Promote and sell vehicle parts and accessories within set pricing parameters
  • Maintain high standards of branch presentation, cleanliness, security, and stock management
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and deliveries accurately
  • Provide training and mentoring to new and existing staff as required
  • Respond to alarm call outs as a key holder and operate equipment including forklift trucks
  • Uphold health and safety policies and ensure compliance across all activities
  • Contribute to enhancing the company's brand image through professional conduct and excellent customer service
  • Perform additional operational tasks to meet branch objectives
Requirements for the Assistant Branch Manager position:
  • Proven experience in vehicle parts sales or related retail environment
  • Demonstrable supervisory or leadership skills
  • Mechanically minded with an understanding of vehicle or trailer components
  • Full UK driving licence, with towing experience preferred
  • Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and achieve targets
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Willingness to undertake stock management, health & safety, and customer service responsibilities
