Your role as Assistant Director of Adult Social Care:
  • Lead operational delivery across adult social care services, ensuring quality and consistency
    • Drive service improvement and regulatory readiness across all functions
    • Take ownership of performance, risk and safeguarding responsibilities
    • Work collaboratively with health, housing and voluntary sector partners
    • Deliver transformation and modernisation in response to demand and financial pressures
As an Assistant Director of Adult Social Care, you will be instrumental in embedding strengths-based practice, promoting independence, and ensuring services meet statutory requirements while achieving meaningful outcomes for residents. This is a highly visible role where your leadership will directly influence service standards and organisational direction.
Your previous experience as an Assistant Director of Adult Social Care:
  • Proven senior leadership experience within a local authority adult social care setting
    • Strong knowledge of statutory duties, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
    • Track record of delivering service transformation and improvement programmes
    • Demonstrable ability to lead multi-agency partnerships effectively
    • Relevant professional qualifications and leadership credentials
