This established business delivers specialist ecological, habitat management, arboricultural and landscape services across the UK, supporting clients in development, infrastructure, conservation, energy and public sector projects. The role:

• Undertake ecological surveys and site assessments
  * Carry out habitat and protected species surveys
  * Prepare technical reports and ecological appraisals
  * Assist with biodiversity net gain and mitigation strategies
  * Liaise with clients, stakeholders and project teams
  * Support project delivery from survey through to reporting

Requirements:

• Experience working as an Ecologist within a consultancy or similar environment
  * Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
  * Good knowledge of UK ecology, legislation and survey methodologies
  * Ability to produce accurate technical reports
  * Full UK driving licence
  * Full right to work in the UK
  * Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office
  * Strong communication and organisational skills
