Assistant Management Accountant

Elevation are recruiting for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a supportive finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has developed a strong knowledge of month end processes who is looking to join a business where your contribution will be visible, valued, and where there is genuine opportunity to progress.

Working closely with senior finance colleagues, you’ll support the production of monthly management accounts and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
• Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Producing weekly and monthly KPI reports
• Assisting with year-end audit preparation
• Supporting process improvements across the finance function

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn and keen to develop their finance career.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within finance, ideally in an Assistant Accountant role
• Exposure to month-end processes, journals and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Studying towards CIMA / ACCA (desirable)
