This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, analysing financial performance and providing meaningful insight to support decision-making.
The Role
Working closely with the Finance Lead, you'll support the financial management and operational performance of the organisation through budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts
- Building relationships with budget holders across the business
- Presenting financial information and insights to support decision-making
- Developing financial models and reporting tools
- Supporting audit processes and maintaining strong financial controls
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
This role will suit someone who is confident in analysing and presenting financial data, challenging existing ways of working and influencing positive change.
About You
- AAT Level 4 qualified, degree qualified or equivalent
- Experience within a management accounting, assistant management accounting or similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Comfortable presenting financial information to stakeholders and challenging constructively where improvements can be made
- Commercially aware, proactive and organised
- Looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing organisation
- Experience within healthcare, social care, mental health or other regulated environments would be advantageous.
