Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor specialising in external refurbishment and upgrade works within the Social Housing and Healthcare sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced commercial team, with exposure to the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) - (Mandatory).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the management of costs on refurbishment and maintenance projects
• Working with the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) to price works
• Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Liaising with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Monitoring project costs and ensuring budgets are maintained

Requirements:

• Previous experience or exposure to Disrepair, Voids, and Repairs within Social Housing
• Knowledge or understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) (Mandatory)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and organisational abilities
• Ambition to progress within a Quantity Surveying role

Working Arrangement:

• Office-based role in Barnet
