Assistant Site Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising on-site construction activities
- Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers
- Monitor progress against project schedules
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Conduct site inspections and report any issues
- Support quality control and ensure work meets required standards
- Keep site records, reports, and documentation up to date
- Help manage deliveries and site logistics
- Communicate with the Site Manager and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Some experience in construction or site supervision (preferred)
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety regulations
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS – desirable)
Working Conditions
- Based on a construction site
- May require early starts, long hours, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
