Salary / Day Rate: £43,000 - £45,000 + Package / £220 - £240 per day

Are you a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a highly anticipated new build residential project in Preston.

You will play a crucial role in delivering beautiful, modern homes on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations: Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
Trade Management: Coordinate, supervise, and motivate subcontractors and direct labor to ensure high productivity and quality workmanship.
Health & Safety: Champion on-site Health & Safety, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and HSE regulations. Conduct inductions and regular site inspections.
Quality Control: Drive quality standards across all phases of the build, taking pride in delivering defect-free homes ready for NHBC/LABC sign-off and customer handover.
Material Management: Assist with calling off materials and managing site deliveries.
Reporting: Maintain accurate site diaries, update progress reports, and resolve day-to-day issues on the ground.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in the residential sector and possess the following:
Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager (or a highly experienced tradesperson ready to take the step up) on new build housing projects.
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
Valid CSCS Management card.
Up-to-date First Aid at Work certificate.
A solid understanding of traditional build methods and NHBC standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive trades effectively.
