Assistant Site Manager – Contract Role (6 Months)
Location: Bedfordshire
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy construction project on a 6-month contract basis in the Bedfordshire area.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in groundworks and industrial warehouse projects, who can support the Site Manager in delivering works safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of site operations
- Supervising and coordinating site labour
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to specification
- Overseeing site logistics and maintaining efficient workflow
- Completing and maintaining QA documentation and site records
- Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar Assistant Site Manager role
- Strong background in groundworks and industrial/warehouse construction projects
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities
- Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
