The restaurant is known for refined seasonal cuisine and high levels of service. It operates evening service alongside private dining, events, weddings, and exclusive functions throughout the year.
As Assistant Sommelier you will:
- Support the Head Sommelier during daily service
- Deliver high-level wine service in a fine dining setting
- Assist with cellar management and stock control
- Support wine tastings and wine list updates
- Deputise for the Head Sommelier when required
- Experience in a Commis or Junior Sommelier role
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Strong wine knowledge
- WSET Level 1 or 2
- Good cellar management knowledge
- Understanding of licensing laws and weights and measures
- Personal Licence desirable
- Passion for hospitality and learning
- Must hold the full right to work in the UK
