Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £45,000-£60,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate Geo-Environmental Consultant to join a well-established and growing environmental and engineering consultancy, supporting the delivery of complex land quality and remediation projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing geo-environmental and contaminated land projects
• Overseeing site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation strategies
• Reviewing and signing off technical reports and deliverables
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
• Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources
• Supporting business development activities, including tenders and client meetings
• Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety standards

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land
• Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering)
• Chartered status or working towards (e.g. CGeol, CEnv, or similar)
• Strong technical knowledge of contaminated land risk assessment and remediation
• Proven experience managing projects and leading teams
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and planning framework
• Full UK driving licence
