Audit Senior Role
As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of key areas of audit delivery, leading fieldwork, supervising junior team members, and ensuring high‑quality audit work across a diverse client portfolio. You will play a central role in planning, executing, and completing audit assignments, applying strong technical knowledge and professional judgement throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead audit fieldwork across a varied client base, ensuring delivery to firm methodology and regulatory standards.

Perform and review audit testing with confident application of FRS 102 and core auditing principles.

Prepare compliant audit working papers aligned with International Standards on Auditing.

Identify and escalate audit issues promptly, collaborating with senior team members to resolve them.

Engage with clients during fieldwork, managing information requests and maintaining strong relationships.

Take ownership of allocated audit sections, ensuring organised, cross‑referenced documentation.

Assist in drafting financial statements and completion documents for audit finalisation.

Supervise and support junior staff, providing coaching and reviewing their work.

Manage multiple assignments, meeting deadlines and budgets without compromising quality.

Work flexibly across office and client sites to support the wider audit team.

Maintain high standards of documentation accuracy and compliance throughout audit files.

Participate in internal training to develop technical and professional skills.
Skills & Experience
-
Studying toward ACA/ACCA with full study support.

3 years’ audit experience in a professional practice environment.

Experience in a Top 20/Top 50 firm (preferred).

Strong understanding of FRS 102, auditing standards, and audit methodology.

Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.

Able to follow instructions precisely and deliver high‑quality work to deadlines.

Well‑organised and proactive with effective workload management.

High attention to detail and a solutions‑focused approach.

Committed to excellent client service with professionalism and integrity.

Motivated to learn and develop, taking on increasing responsibility.
